Nadeem Akbar Najar is the founder and director of South Asian Institute for Research and Training. In order to promote the culture of research and development in the South Asian region, he decided to launch a common platform for researchers and academicians across the whole region and found The SAIRT. He has been a combatant member of Indian Air Force for 10 Years (2005-2015) where he ensured the continuous airworthiness of aircraft engines and structures of highly sophisticated flying machines like MiG 21 and Sukhoi-30 Russian origin fighters.
He finished his schooling from Iqbal Memorial Institute, Srinagar, Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from The Institution of Engineers (India), Post Graduation in Thermal System and Design from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University with Honours. In addition to engineering studies, he studied Mathematics from Annamalai University and earned BSc ( Mathematics) degree. He has been declared as Exceptional in all training courses at Indian Air Force and awarded Associate Degree in Science (Aircraft Propulsion System), Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Security Management of Strategic Installation Certification in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He is an Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) and a registered Chartered Engineer (India).
